4 years ago today our little sprout came to be on this earth. A new snow had just fallen on our little corner of Toronto and Winter was in a real funny mood. We had a safe but challenging birth and before long we were home, creature in hands. Exhausted.
Though things were shaky at first, we figured it out and our Jonah prospered, developed and thrived. Before long, Mr. Personality had arrived. The rest as the saying goes is his story.
But from the very start, our little Djangy captured our hearts with a presence one can't deny, a gorgeous smile, blue eys, kinda smart, kida sly, curious, kind and a bit shy. A boy alive!
This is our most precious day, the day we celebrate the birth of our wonderful son, our grandson!
FRANKEL-SELL UPDATES
Over the holidays, Mom decided to go through with her laser eye surgery. The good news is that the procedure was a success and today she boosts a fresh, glass free face and perfect vision. Great recovery mom and way to go, you look amazing.
Dad is taking up Bohemianism part-time to pay the bills. I took this odd picture of Dad taking a picture of me in his 'office'.
Dad also claims to be attempting a new writing project. H's very hush, hush about it. You can't see it in this picture but he also has a 3 guitars and is getting pretty good at his playing. He jams with Uncle Marty every Tuesday.
So I'm kind of going crazy for Playmobil stuff.
I've found a lot of it used at the Value Village but we've also been buying Pirates and Knights. Don't hesitate to donate your used or unwanted Playmobil toys to the staff at J:D Blog.
And finally, these are my feet. I love my feet. The world needs more random pictures of feet.
(I'm getting into experimental photography too)
Please come back very, very soon as I'll be posting pics from my daycare cake-party, my gift-extravaganza!
J:D Birthday week coverage continues...
