A Day In The Life

Hey everyone,

This past Father's Day served to remind me just how lucky I am. So I wanted to share with all of you a typical day in the life of Jonah as seen through my eyes. The pics below were all taken last weekend.

This close up was taken while Jonah pranced around the dining room in my 'Frank Sinatra' hat that I got at Value Village for $7.99. As you can see he loves hats and has a flare for showmanship.

Lucy has been combing the streets for plastic kids toys that people throw out and Jonah is slowly building up a nice collection. This race car is our latest find, only $1 at a street sale. Notice his 'Bing Crosby' driving cap.

Here is jd at KEW beach. Parents kept passing by us and commenting on his back-back with leash and asking where we got it. I think it looks cool and it sure helps keep him out of harms way.

Awwwwhhhhh don't it just make your heart melt? What a busy day and boy was he exhausted. Night, night jonah, sleep tight.

Happy Father's Day

I realize this post is a day late but to be honest Dad, Mom and I were much too busy having fun down at KEW beach yesterday to get on the computer. Also, Dad was a tad hung over from his birthday party and so he couldn't help me get the post done in time.

Anyway, I just want him to know that I love him very much and think he's the best Dad ever! I also have to give mad props to all my friends Fathers and the cool uncles and soon-to-be papas I know. You are all princes among men and knights of shining karma.

Finally, let the fanfare ring out for Grampa Losell. Not only did he come and hang out for Dad's 35th but he also heard my prayers and got him a brand new acoustic guitar! Let the good times roll.

Up, Up, Updates

Hey lovelies,

So the Franken Crew has officially moved into our new digs at Coxwell/Danforth and we're settling in nicely. It's been a huge transition for all of us and so the growing pains are still evident. We all still feel like fish out of water but day by day we are making things just a little bit cosier, a little bit homier. Pa recently painted my bedroom (now know as the Mr. Custard Suite) and Ma and Pa are going to be painting their master bedroom this weekend.

Sadie is absolutely loving her backyard/patio space and I'm digging the upscale feel and three levels of space. The basement is almost clear of boxes and such and Pa is excited to organize his garage. With other little projects and decorating tasks aside, we should be ready to entertain in a few weeks with a proper house warming.

As for me, I'm still walking and talking and with my increased mobility, learning to fall, climb and roll. In short I walk like a drunk sailor and move and climb like SUPERDAVE. I've suffered a couple of minor bumps and scrapes as of late and even split my lip flying off the change table. I'm also mastering the floor to face plant and for those of you who have wiped out this way, all I can say is, wicked ouch! As you can imagine, I'm starting to develop a reputation for being a pretty tough little cookie, who doesn't crumble easily. For those of you alarmed to read this news, please note that it's apparently a part of growing up. To quote Paul Simon, "You've got to learn how to fall before you learn to fly."

Ok that's it for now. Check you all soon. Peace.
