I'm a sweet potato, therefore I YAM

Since getting back from my trip I have been ever so hungry.
In fact the other day I had my very first meal of sweet potato



Yummy. Or was it? Lately I have been putting all sorts of things in my mouth.

Or what about this lovely Baby Einstein *TM teething toy...



Am I hungry or just orally fixated?

But never mind that, I'm officially sitting up on my own now.

The Return of Django

Hello Everyone,

It's me, jonah writing to you from my home in Toronto! Mom and I just got back from our fabulous adventure in the UK. We are rather jet lagged but so happy to finally be home. Over the course of our trip, I went on four planes and Mom said that I was an incredible travel companion.



From Car to Bus to stroller, I am now a full fledged action man. I have also gained a lot of experience and met some amazing people. We have over 400 pics so you will have to be patient with me as I sort through the photo's and begin posting blog entries with my Mom. As you can see by this shot, I am practically sitting up on my own and living the life of a well seasoned traveller.



One of the best parts about the trip was coming home to my Daddy. It was so great to see him at the airport. I will admit I was shy at first but to be fair, I was still in another time zone. Dad was sure pleased to see us too!



We have been back a few days now but I'm feeling a little out of sorts. I'm not sleeping so great and have a little cough. Slowly, the three of us are getting back into a 'normal' family routine. I should be right as rain in no time.



So watch this space. I promise in a few days to return to my silly self. I look forward to introducing you all to my extended family and telling you about my wild and crazy adventures.

Transit transitions

Hello Everybody,

I just wanted to send a quick update to let all of you know that Mom and I are back safe and sound in London as of August 31st. We are quite exhausted from all the traveling but have had an amazing time. We are planning to spend the remainder of our trip keeping a low profile. We will be focusing on our final visits to friends and family and have plans to celebrate Ruth's birthday.

For those of you wondering where all the great photo's are, to be honest we haven't had the best access to technology and a computer. But don't you fret, when we get back home on the 8th and after we are settled, we will flood the blog with lots of pics and stories of our wild adventures.

Thanks for keeping up with us. Mom and I are really looking forward to coming home to Canada. Take care everybody and we'll see you in roughly five days!
