Saturday In The Park

Good Morning,

I hope all of you are having a lovely summer. I myself have been having a super week and have reached some new and impressive benchmarks in my development. First off, I am now officially five months old today (July 28th) and to celebrate, Mom and Dad bought me a brand new crib. It is a Storkcraft and it's so lovely and big and I can really stretch out in it.

Also, as I reported last week, I'm now fully capable of turning onto my stomach from my back. Mom says this has made my diaper changes much more challenging and with my new found mobility, I'm a real wiggly guy. As some of you know, Mom and I are gearing up for our big trip to England and Israel. We leave next Saturday. I promise to continue posting pics and sending reports of our fabulous adventures.

The pictures below are from a lovely day out last weekend to the park. As you can see I have recently discovered the joy of swings! I think my folks are impressed with my courage and love of adventure and new experiences. I found it quite exciting.

Anyway, I best go as I'm preparing for a visit from my Auntie Robin.

Hello Blog-a-holics

What a busy time it has been in Django-land. Summer is in full swing and I'm still the man about town. I'm growing bigger and bigger everyday and at my last check up I weighed in at 17+ pounds. I'm also at that phase where I must put everything I can in my mouth as demonstrated by my new found love of my very own foot. (*See 'Foot-in-mouth-with-ease')

Last Saturday, I got together with my friends from Pre-natal. At one point, David and I were plotting on the quilt to take over of the free world but our plan was thwarted by a surprise diaper changing. Next time gadget, next time!

A very special visitor

This past holiday Monday, I had the pleasure of finally meeting my niqijuk #2 Nancy from Iqualuit, Nunavut. Along with niqijuk #1 Emily,the royal we along with Auntie Amber and Uncle Ryan went out for brunch and came back to ours for tea. It was so nice to spend time with Nancy and get to know her better. I can't wait till I'm old enough to go up to the arctic and meet all of my Inuit friends.

Akulu to all of you and especially Nancy! I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay.
