I'm talking about boys...

Good Morning friends and family,

It has been a very quiet week around these parts and we are all into the normal groove of life as a family unit. My Mom and Dad just had their 6th Wedding Anniversary on May 17th and celebrated it with me. They both said that I was the greatest gift of all!

In terms of special events, I finally had my first grown up bath with Mommy which was great fun. My sleeping and feeding rituals are also going well and I have even spent some time alone with Dad while Mom goes out for some much needed retail and hair therapy. Tomorrow, we are all going to visit some more of my Aunties, Uncles and Cousins in Brooklin (not in NYC) so no doubt I will have a ton of photos from that trip.

Hot enough for you? We've been experiencing record breaking temperatures here in Ontario and yesterday was our 5th Smog day of 2007. I have to admit, I'm not too impressed with the humidity but I digress.

Ok - let's get to the pictures...

Dad has slowed down on the paparazzi photo's but I have really gotten into this new seat, dubbed the 'moo cow throne' courtesy of Aunties Vanita and Nilofar. As you can see, it's all bright colours and it rocks back and forth. The first shot is of me doing my best Sears pose in the throne (for those of you in England, Sears is a department Store) The second shot is a self portrait of Daddy and I (Boy do we share noses or what?) and the third, well that's just another candid shot taken of me taking a break from Rocking and playing.

Well I hope all of you out there in blog-land are well and staying cool. Take good care and all. I'm going to start posting twice a week on Tuesdays and Friday's and watch out for a new blog that Dad and I will be launching next week!

Bye for now
I love you all

More back pages...

Hey everybody,

For this week's posting, I have put together a bunch of photo's from the past few months (Gosh-I'm three months old now) These pictures at first glance didn't seem appropriate for the blog but are now considered treasured out-takes. Enjoy!

On the news front, things are pretty much the same around here. Well not the same as I'm changing everyday but I've sort of reached a new level of comfort and joy. I'm into a fairly normal routine with my sleeping and eating. My days are spent making noises and hanging out being gorgeous. oh yeah and my hair is starting to grow.

I also hope you like the new look of my blog. Daddy has also changed the settings so that you can post comments properly. Give it a try, I'd love to hear from you all.

Take Care everyone and happy long-weekend!

Django :)

For Lee and Jen

Hello again,

This is a special dedication post to my Uncle Lee and Auntie Jen in B.C. The first pic is of me playing on my activity mat wearing a cool t-shirt they gave me. The shirt reads, "Please wait, Diaper Loading." How brilliant is that!

The second one is kinda silly but it's a pic of a t-shirt Mom & Dad bought me. It's a surfing frog and it made me think of Lee and the Surf Sisters. Long live long boards!

Hang Ten my lovelies

Beach Boys

Hello again,

Here are two additional pics from this past week. They were both taken on a family day trip to Toronto's 'The Beach' which is really just an upscale neighbourhood with shops on Queen East but there is in fact a beach. The first is of Daddy and I (He's doing his best 'Wolfman Jack' impression and has since shaven at my request) and the other is of me in stroller slumber mode from the cool waterfront air.

Aunties & Uncles

Hello - JD here,

Wow, I can't believe it's Friday already. This week has gone fast and I've been a bit topsy-turvy. I'm still doing quite well and sleeping lots but the last few days I've been feeling out of sorts. Maybe I've just caught a little Spring bug or something.

I want to tell you about my brunch date last week with Aunite Racheal and Uncle Ryan. We went to Grapefruit Moon on Bathurst and sat outside. It was so nice to finally meet them and I've included a pic of Racheal and I above. They also showered me with gifts for my 'zero' birthday. I got this cool bib (pictured above) all the way from Mexico. The message reads something like: " I'm smiling because I have one tooth." Perhaps Grandfather Terry can translate the message for me.

They also gave me two musical cd's. Maybe you parents and other kids have seen them. The series is called "Baby Rocks" and each cd contains lullaby renditions of famous songs by alternative/rock bands. So I've now got the baby Nirvana and Led Zeppelin discs. I have to say that the Nirvana one is a tad scary but cool all the same. You haven't lived until you've heard "Stairway to Heaven" on toy piano.

Well that's it. i have a few more posts to come so here we go.

All this blogging has made me tired...

Thank you for being a friend

Hello again,

Another highlight of my week was a special visit from Maeve and Tracy. They brought flowers and yummy treats and the best part was that I got to hold hands with Maeve (makes me think of that Beatle's song) It was so wonderful to meet them and I'm looking forward to also meeting Kevin and Sam.

Play time is the right time

Hello bloggers,

I'm a very active and happy baby boy these days. I'm also into this great routine, sleeping 7-8 hrs per night (not in a row but still...) , getting up with Daddy at 7:30 like clockwork and watching cartoons and playing on my activity mat with Sadie (pictured above)

Some other highlights from my week include a visit to Mom's old workplace, where I charmed the ladies, meeting up with some of my new friends at Beenies cafe, (I had a mochachino) and I passed my first hearing test. I also finally spent some time with grandfather Terry.

Dad swears that he heard me laugh recently and I don't mean to brag but the Doctor last week said I had the head control of a 4 month yr old! And the Doctor also said that my body tone and spine were excellent ( Mom says it' because I'm a flax seed and quinoa baby) So all you people out there should join the quinoa revolution, your spine will thank you.

I didn't receive any e-mails so I guess the book club is on hold. Come on people, get off Facebook and pick up a real book ;)
